heart and lungs
The heart is a muscular organ that is responsible for pumping blood to the arteries by alternating pulsating movements and sending the blood to all parts of the body. Arteriosclerosis is the most important cause of cardiovascular diseases. This hardening causes the various arteries that supply blood to different parts of the body to gradually become hard and narrow and their ability to transport oxygen and nutrients to the body’s cells decreases. Iran Zemin Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic is at the service of dear clients by providing and implementing specialized procedures for the examination, diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases using modern equipment.
Counseling and diagnosis procedures
The initial consultation and treatment of heart diseases is started by a general physician in the specialized heart rehabilitation clinic of Iran Zemin.
The doctor collects a comprehensive history of the patient’s symptoms, factors, cardiac risk factors, family history, smoking, diet and daily activities. This is followed by a complete cardiovascular examination, which includes auscultation of the heart, auscultation of the lungs, examination of pulses, peripheral organs, and blood pressure from both arms. Finally, by taking an ECG, the presence of risk factors and the possibility of heart disease will be revealed to about 60%.
After this stage, the general doctor will diagnose the patient’s need for specialized and more accurate tests and he will be referred to a specialist doctor. Based on the theory of the general practitioner, the cardiologist applies diagnostic tests to check the disease.
There are various diagnostic tests to check heart disease, but the four basic tests that are used to screen heart patients are: echocardiography, exercise test, Holter rhythm and blood pressure Holter.
